€63 mn in Modernising and Expanding Polypropylene Production. That is the sum that Slovnaft has invested in expanding and modernising polypropylene production at its Bratislava refinery. The sum is one of its most significant investments in almost 20 years. According to the company, the comprehensive refurbishment of the existing PP3 production unit has increased production capacity, reduced emissions, improved safety, and made the plant more attractive to customers. The investment should thus confirm the strategy of the parent MOL Group, which is to reduce fossil-fuel production and strengthen the production of base plastics.
