Slovakia and Ukraine share a common border of about 98km with ethnic minorities living on both sides of it. In the past eight months since the events in the neighbouring country have been making headlines all over the world, Slovaks have displayed rather mixed reactions to them, at least in comparison to those coming from other states in the region.
