On December 18, it is possible to see a unique drama performance in the Slovenské komorné divadlo in Martin, north Slovakia. The play „Back then in Bratislava" is based on the autobiography of Jo Langer „Convictions: my life with a good communist", published in English back in 1968. With this performance, the chamber theatre in Martin continues in its series of plays based on autobiographies of Slovak authors depicting the era in which these writers lived. The book as well as the play depicts the author's life with Oskar Langer who fell victim to the communist government's show trials of the early 1950s. Jo Langer is played by the phenomenal Slovak actress Jana Oľhová.
