Wine is not only big business in Slovakia; it's part of Slovak culture too. Despite hundreds of years of advances in technology and automation and endless of international medals, Slovak winemakers are simply doing what's been done on these lands for more than two thousand years. Autumn's wine traditions - arguably the most important in the wine making process - involve collecting, macerating, and fermenting the grapes. Gavin Shoebridge checks out one of the hundreds of wineries in Slovakia to see what actually goes on at this time of year.
