For already the 24th time, the awardees for the top achievements in the sphere of cultural heritage protection, performed in the year 2014, were announced. The winning projects also include the reconstruction of a unique wooden elevated tank (vodná veža) in Palárikovo, restoration of the fresco depicting St Christopher in the Church of the Virgin Mary's Birth in Nižný Slavkov as well as the long-running project Bunker B - S4, the Museum of the Czechoslovak fort in Petržalka (Bratislava suburb). The winning projects were chosen out of 108 nominees by the body of editors from the Pamiatky a muzea revue magazine in co-operation with the Slovak National Museum and the Monuments Board of the Slovak Republic.
