In this report, we explore Japanese Days, a vibrant four-day festival that brought the sights, sounds and traditions of Japan to the heart of Trenčín. From contemporary dance and digital performance art to traditional crafts, tea culture, martial arts and garden design, the festival showcased both internationally acclaimed Japanese artists and passionate local enthusiasts. More than a cultural showcase, Japanese Days reflects the European Capital of Culture's vision of connecting communities through creativity and international exchange—a model that is already inspiring future host cities across Europe.
