Bratislava’s Hotel Kyjev and Prior department store have been officially declared national cultural monuments, effective July 8th, the Culture Ministry confirmed. The decision, issued after an appeal process, was based on the buildings' exceptional architectural and historical value. The ministry emphasized that the goal is not to preserve them as museum pieces, but to protect their key features while allowing for future development in collaboration with experts.
