Slovak photographer Zuzana Pustaiová has received two nominations at the renowned Les Rencontres d'Arles photography festival in France. She was shortlisted for the Discovery Award for emerging artists and the Prix de la Photo Madame Figaro – Arles 2025, recognizing outstanding female photographers. This marks the first time Slovak photography will be presented at the festival through a solo exhibition. Pustaiová’s project Safety Report, which explores public discourse around nuclear energy safety and focuses on the Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant, will be part of the Discovery Award section. Winners will be announced during the festival’s opening week that started on Monday July 7.
