On Friday, June 19th, the Art Film International Film Festival kicked off in Košice. This festival attracts visitors from around the world eager to see not only great Slovak cinema, but also a carefully curated selection of films from around the world. In this episode we travel to Košice to speak with those involved in selecting, judging, and presenting these films.
You’ll hear from Art Film’s artistic director Martin Paluch, Indian ambassador to Slovakia Apoorva Srivastava, and Swiss/American director Alexandre O. Philippe. They take us on a tour of what makes this festival a truly international event.
