The album "Alene et" is a pure, bright, and unapologetically clean experiment. It's no surprise, then, that Michaela Turcerová, its composer, was honored with the 2024 Radio_Head Award for Experimental Music for this album. This prestigious award is decided by a jury of experts nominated by Rádio Devín, the public channel dedicated to arts and culture.
A Slovak expatriate, Michaela began her studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Banská Bystrica, later moved to Prague to continue her university studies in jazz, and completed her master's degree at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen. In mid-April 2025, she performed a solo concert in Bratislava, based on the compositions from the album "Alene et". In mid-April 2025, she also came for an interview to Radio Slovakia International.
