Egle Odo guided community garden tour

Italian Visual artist Egle Odo, who resides in Helsinki, Finland, will come to Bratislava on Friday for a guided tour introducing the current stage of her community garden in a block of flats in Bratislava downtown, near Blumentál church. Her artworks are unique in that they combine art, urbanism, community work, and the cultivation of public space, but also interpersonal relationships. The artist's intervention responds sensitively to local conditions and greenery, as well as to local people. Her projects are built on thorough interdisciplinary research. The tour ends at 6pm on Friday, while the garden stays, hopefully, forever.

However, the festival will also feature violinist Aubree Oliverson from the USA and pianist Kensei Yamaguchi from Japan, among others.
