On Thursday, Slovak Post issued the postage stamp "Naive Art from Kovačica in Vojvodina," with a nominal value of €3.60, TASR was informed by Slovak Post communications specialist Eva Peterová.
The postage stamp measures 54.4 by 44.4 millimeters and features a painting by Zuzana Chalupová, a representative of the Kovačica artistic movement, entitled Going to Work, from the collection of the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava.
Its release was initially planned for 2024 to promote the inclusion of this exceptional artistic expression in UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
