On February 13 and 14, 2025, two exhibitions presenting Slovak female visual artists will open at 2 venues in New York. “Revealed faces” on West 28th Street will showcase significant women aged 60+, while the seat of the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic on East 73rd Street brings together women-laureates of the Oskar Cepan award for best visual artists under 40. Curator and director of the multimedia contemporary art space Nastupiste, Zuzana Novotová Godálová, and artist-tapestry maker Eva Cisárová Mináriková invite visitors to explore two exhibitions, participate in workshops, and get engaged in panel discussions.
