Encyclopedia of Slovak bells and bellfounders

On Wednesday, 4 October, the first ever encyclopedia of bells and bellfounders in Slovakia was launched by the Heritage Office of the Slovak Republic. The summary of 20 long years of work by expert campanologist Juraj Spiritza comes in a book that is unique in the European context. It maps out not only the locations of bells in our territory but also the stories and links between their creators. Introducing the author of the book is his editor and longtime collaborator Martina Orosova, the head of the Heritage Archive.
