Bratislava hosted an international festival on 1-7th of June, to which flocked emerging artists and young professionals from all over Europe and even from Asia. We have some insight for you. Elena Seeber was on the spot.

The 23 rd Istropolitana Project Festival raised the question: “what is the last step towards finding one´s identity?” The inspiration for this particular subject also came from the shooting on the 12th of October last year, as two people were killed and one wounded. This act was declared as an anti-LGBT hate crime in Slovakia. But coming back to the festival that finished last week - 12 productions, 12 schools from 9 countries introduced 12 competing productions. All of them revealed their unique identities.
