Mira Fornay is an acclaimed Slovak director living in Czech Republic and France. She has received several international awards for her films „Foxes“ as well as „My dog killer“. In 2023, her film „Mimi/She-hero“ was granted the Grand Prix and Special Prize of the KPlus International Jury at the Berlin Film Festival. The expert jury recognised the film for its tone, pace and sense of humour by which “it impressively straddles the line between reality and fantasy“.
