On Monday, 14th March, the Ministry provided buses heading to the eastern Slovakia to hand over material for protecting artworks from museum collections in Ukraine. As the Minister added, on the way back, 90 students from Kharkiv choreography school and the Kyiv state choreography school were transported to Slovakia by these buses along with their Mums and Grandmas. The help was organized in co-operation with the State theatre in Kosice and the Slovak consul in Uzhorod, Pavol Panis. However, there are also other Slovak schools helping Ukrainian students.

Not far from the building of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, actually just across Hviezdoslav square, stands the building of the Slovak Philharmonic. I wondered what kind of solidarity with artists from Ukraine we could find there.
