Bratislava seen through artistic Italian lens

Bratislava seen through artistic Italian lens

Matteo Sica is an Italian who’s been living in Bratislava for 10 years. Over that time, he became fascinated by Slovakia’s capital city and started transforming it into art. So I decided to do an interview with Matteo to find out what he, as a foreigner, finds inspiring in Bratislava, and how he goes about creating his paintings.

Matteo is currently working on a new project – he is painting hidden places in Bratislava that many tourists don’t visit because they simply don’t know about them. This new series of illustrations of unknown places that are definitely worth visiting should come out at the beginning of next year.
