At the start of her photographic project, she thought that it would be interesting to find some abandoned chateaux and document them for the future. But the more she delved into the topic, the more buildings that fitted this project appeared in the spotlight. She has been photographing abandoned chateaux located all over Slovakia for several years, and even published a book about them. The fascination and the documenting is still not over, though. Zuzana Botiková spoke to Jana Šturdíková, who is currently working on an extended version of her book titled Chateaux po našom, or Chateaux our way.
