On 11th March 2019, a production depicting the life and work of Milan Rastislav Štefánik will close at the Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra, western Slovakia. This Slovak - who became a general in the French army, one of the co-founders of Czechoslovakia and its Minister of War - died in a tragic plane crash in 1919. The unexpected termination of the production entitled Štefánik - the Sun in eclipse,in the 100th anniversary year of his death, raises the question, why.
