One of the awardees receiving state honours by the incumbent Slovak President Andrej Kiska is Lubomir Longauer. A co-founder of Verejnost proti nasiliu - a political group that was very active in undermining the power of the communist regime in 1989 - he is recognised as an authority in the sphere of design. Back in 2013, he, successfully, established the Slovak design museum. And in January 2019, he conducted a special guided tour of an exhibition currently on display at Bratislava castle.
