Iconic Slovak anti-war poetry read in British Library

On the occasion of the centenary anniversary of the First World War armistice, the Slovak Embassy in Great Britain presented a contemporary English translation of an iconic anti-war piece of literature written in the Slovak language. Krvavé sonety or the Bloody sonnets by Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav were read on November 7, 2018, in the globally significant institution - the British library, by the Slovak Ambassador to Great Britain Ľubomír Rehák.
