The international showcase festival of alternative music Waves Vienna starts on Friday in the Austrian capital, 60 km far from Bratislava. This year, the event will present Slovak and Portuguese musicians in the live programme. The music markets of these two countries will be explored at the Waves Vienna Music Conference. The Slovak delegation will include not only musicians but also representatives of the Pohoda festival that has been awarded several international awards.
