The 28th Slovak Festival in Detroit, expecting 6,000 visitors, is scheduled for this upcoming weekend. Organised by Saints Cyril and Methodius Slovak Catholic Church, it features live music and traditional food. This year, the parish will host the Šarišan folk ensemble presenting songs, dances and costumes from the eastern town of Prešov.
