On Tuesday, thus on the 50th anniversary of the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia, the Institute of History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences presented a new book named Dubček. The book, which was compiled by 20 experts in history from Slovakia and the Czech Republic, is a result of long-term research into the life of the former Communist Party leader, Alexander Dubček. The editors, Miroslav Londák and Slavomír Suchánek, aimed to stay impartial when explaining the reasons for Dubček's actions in the historical context. The book includes an English summary.
