As of the 24th August, the Záleská divadelná púť, a two-day international festival of theatre production for children, starting in Zálesie, western Slovakia. The small village some 15 km away from Bratislava will host a genuine French circus, a great number of music bands, NGOs presenting the past and present of planet Earth as well as a dance stage and food court. Street artists, jugglers and puppeteers will keep not only children happy but adults too. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the invasion of Warsaw Pact Troops into the former Czechoslovakia, the event will also feature an undertaking of visual artists such as caricaturists Jozef „Gertli" Danglár and Martin „Shooty" Šútovec along with artists Marek Ormandík, Robert Hromec and Igor Drevenec already on Wednesday, 22nd August. They will be joined by a concert of the once-underground singer Michael Kocab and a screening of the film Occupation 68.
