The Macedonian capital Skopje is hosting an exhibition entitled "Tracing Saints Cyril and Methodius" presenting photographs by Slovak diplomat Pavel Demeš. The event shows a kind of photo CV of the Slav priests who were declared co-patron saints of Europe in 1980 by Pope John Paul II. The exhibition placed in the premises of the National and University Library in Skopje is being held on the occasion of the European year of cultural heritage and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the independent Slovak Republic.
