The top staging of so-called new drama in Slovakia is "Vojna nemá ženskú tvár" or "War does not have a woman's face". The performance of the Komorné divadlo in Martin, central Slovakia, was awarded the Grand Prix as well as the viewers' choice. The international jury of the festival New Drama appreciated its innovative approach in selecting the text of the Belarussian Nobel prize winner for a theatre staging. They also highlighted the courage of undoing the past for the reality of today.
