The most beautiful books of the year were announced at a ceremony held in Bratislava. The 20 member jury judged the graphic and technological qualities of the publications. They decided that the subtle book Invisible cities by Italian writer Italo Calvino won the majority of the awards. It was designed by Palo Bálik and illustrated by Daniela Olejníková. All awarded entries are on the display in Bibiana, the house of art for children, in Bratislava until the end of May.
