Culture Minister Awards 2016

Slovak Culture Minister Marek Maďarič decorated several personalities for their accomplishments in professional art. The Culture Minister awards for the year 2016 were handed over to writer Anton Hykish, costume designer Ľudmila Várossová and musician Peter Zajíček. The prize for extraordinary contribution to audiovisual art was presented to director Stanislav Párnický and also to Tibor Búza, the programming director of the television part of the public broadcaster RTVS. Set designer Jozef Ciller was appreciated for his life contribution in the sphere of art. The 2016 lauretes of the art support, presentation and promotion are Izabela Pažítková, the manager of the Bratislava music festival, and Peter Paško, the founder of the Galeria Nedbalka in Bratislava.
