The Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra, west Slovakia, has premiered the play Jánošík written by Slovak female writer Mária Rázusová - Martáková. The modern approach to the piece written as a criticism to wartime Nazi ally Slovak state portrays the national legend as an intellectual questioning nationalists.
