Slovaks join Nobel prize awardees

Slovak producer Patrik Pašš and director Matej Mináč were awarded the prestigious Raoul Wallenberg medal in recognition of their film and documentary work reviving the heroic deeds of Sir Nicholas Winton. The winners of the Emmy award or Czech lions have shot several documentaries as well as feature films dedicated to the British clerk who saved lives of hundreds of Czech Jewish children at the outbreak of WWII. By receiving the Raoul Wallenberg prize they joined awardees such as Nobel prize winner Elie Wiesel or the Dalai Lama.
