Vanity message to Marian Kotleba

The only professional dance theatre in Slovakia has presented its final premiere in the year 2016. In it, the Štúdio tanca theatre deals with the theme of vanity. The performance is a reaction to the far right party leader Marian Kotleba who has been labelling the theatre as decadent. The chairman of the Banska Bystrica county which is the founder of the theatre, Kotleba e.g. cancelled an international contemporary dance festival prepared by Štúdio tanca theatre in 2015. In their last performance of 2016, the dancers and the choreographer try to pass the message of pointlessness of vanity. Their show is divided into 3 parts - one referring to New Testament, one to individual feeling of hopelessness and the third one to general emptiness of the human kind who could live in harmony bearing in mind the termination of the life.
