The largest summer music festival Pohoda was shortlisted in 4 categories in the European Festival Awards. 35 European promoters and journalists nominated the Slovak event for the Best Line up and Best promoter. The Pohoda founder Michal Kaščák has been included into the shortlist of the Award for Excellence and Passion along with e.g. Ruud Berends, the manager of the Eurosonic festival and Damon Albarn - the leader of bands Gorillaz and Blur. Moreover, the Pohoda festival has been chosen not only by experts but also by fans to Top 10 Best medium-sized festivals. The winners of the European Festival Awards will be announced January 11, 2017.
