In its latest project, the Slovak National Gallery has the ambition to trigger discussions both about the positives and negatives of the fascist period of Slovak history. This largest project to date involves guided tours also in English, screenings of films shot during this historical period but also presentations of experts followed by discussing different aspects of the existence of this Nazi ally state. While the Slovak National Gallery houses the display of the art produced in the period 1938 - 1946, the attitude of contemporary artists can be seen in Kunsthalle Bratislava.
