Top Slovak Gothic art in Rome

The Slovak National Museum opens a representative exhibition entitled Treasures of Gothic in Slovakia today, Thursday September 29. A collection of late Gothic wooden statues by the renowned Majster Pavol or Master Paul from Levoca, paintings, jewellery and textile works will be on display at the seat of the Italian president, in Palazzo del Quirinale until November 13. One of the most precious items is Gratianus' Codex that was printed in Venice in the 15^th century.
