80 years of Congress of Slovak authors

The Congress of Slovak authors will take place in Trencianske Teplice, west Slovakia, on September 22 and 23. Under the auspices of Prime Minister Robert Fico, it will commemorate the 80^th anniversary of the assembly of Slovak writers, scientists and journalists who thus expressed their concerns regarding the rise of fascism. The main goal of the 2016 congress is to discuss the position of literature and authors in contemporary society.
