Slovakia's Presidency at UN in New York

An exhibition of Slovak photographer and traveller Filip Kulišev called Amazing Planet was opened at the United Nations in New York by Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak. People visiting the UN headquarters between July 13-22 are able to admire photographs from national parks in North and South America, Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, as well as photos from Slovakia depicting a water mill on the Little Danube River, Krivan mountain or the Spis Castle. This exhibition was organised for the occasion of Slovakia's Presidency of the Council of the EU. According to its organisers, the displaywould like to reaffirm Slovakia's determination to support the implementation of global agreements on sustainable development and the fight against climate change.
