Shakespeare at Bratislava castle

The summer Shakespearean festivities will start Wednesday, July 27, in Bratislava. For 16 years, the festival has presented dramas and comedies written by the British prodigy. In the year 2016, theatre lovers commemorate the 400^th anniversary of his death. All the Bratislava visitors will have the opportunity to see top Slovak and Czech artists in three pieces including Othello, Midsummer Night's Dream and Two Gentlemen of Verona. As it is the open air festival, the performances are held in the courtyard of the Bratislava castle. It is possible to visit any staging until August 16.
