The Slovak National Museum has opened an exhibition presenting the legacy of the king Charles the Great, which maps the integration of Europe in early mediaeval times. Its concept was part of the European culture roots' project presented in Enam in Belgium, the Czech capital of Prague, the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana and other minor European cities. The exposition at Bratislava Castle presents precious 9th and 10th century excavations from the Nitra region, western Slovakia, in wider European perspective. It is possible to see them until October 16.
