A postage stamp commemorating the 90th and the 60th anniversary of radio and TV broadcasting in Slovakia was issued at the beginning of June. It is entitled "Philately" and features a carrier pigeon, the symbol of delivering articles of mail. The stamp was etched following the art design by Katarína Macurová. Besides the stamp and the envelope with the date and the domicile of Bratislava, a new philatelist product was issued for the first time in Slovakia. "Tajná správa" or "Top secret" is a book of stories for children written by Braňo Jobus. "This jubilee stamp is of lasting value for us," said the public broadcaster RTVS's director general Václav Mika adding that through this, the next generation will remember the jubilee.
