Slovakia is among the countries which celebrate June 1 as the international children's day. The date was set back in 1925 by the World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva. And despite the fact that there are various dates for celebrating children days all around the world, June 1 is the day full of events dedicated to children in our country.
