Days of rhododendrons or great laurels - this is the title of a week-long event organised by the Arboretum Borova hora of Slovak Technical University in Zvolen, central Slovakia. Until Sunday, May 29, visitors will have the possibility to admire the beauty of its collection of rosebays spreading across an area of … square meters. The collection of laurels in bloom will also be on display over the weekend. The overall purpose of the Arboretum Borova hora is the rescue and preservation of Slovak natural forests' gene pools.
