On Monday, February 15, Slovak viewers had the opportunity to pay tribute to the late actor Leopold Haverl. The Slovak National Theatre organised a public pious event in its premises close to the river Danube. Leopold Haverl was not only famous for his theatre gigs but also for his significant voice. Besides reciting poetry he was a sought-after voice actor. In Slovakia, he is recognised as the voice of professor Dumbledore in the Harry Potter series or Gandalf in the Lord of the rings. On Tuesday, February 16, he would have turned 80. He died February 5.
